At least 2.2 million Afghan girls are denied secondary and university education, and roughly 400,000 more are forced out each year. The challenge is not only one of access, but of quality, continuity, and long-term opportunity. While alternative education options have begun to emerge, they remain insufficient, reaching only a fraction of those excluded from formal schooling and facing significant limitations that prevent them from delivering consistent, quality education.
