Saminullah Waziri is an Afghan businessman who holds a BA in Business Administration from Mashal University. He also attended the United Nations specialization studies in France, and completed his second BA in Political Science and Public Administration with a Minor degree in Law at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).
In 2014, Mr. Waziri founded the ‘Siyal’ academic association, a social and political forum for young intellectuals. Meanwhile, he has represented Afghanistan at many international conferences and forums, such as Young Connectors of Future (YCF) in Sweden in 2013; Young Leaders Summit in Paris in 2014; International Youth Leadership Conference (IYLC) in Dubai in 2018; and recently Mr. Waziri founded the Afghan Young Leaders’ Network (AYLN) in Afghanistan.
In 2009, Mr. Waziri established a group of companies involved in construction, logistics, and waste management which is one of the leading companies in the country. Since then, his companies have succeeded in numerous infrastructural projects in the country. In 2014, his company sponsored the Afghan American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) 10th Afghan Business Matchmaking Conference (BMC) event in Washington D.C. Mr. Waziri also received the ‘Young Businessman’ awards from several international business summits.
