Hasinah Sadat grew up among storybooks which fostered her passion for books and children. This created her commitment to community development led her to Charmaghz, where she began as a team leader and was promoted to Library Program Manager, steering the mission to improve Afghan children’s lives.
Hasinah studied Urban Planning and Design at Kabul University and has enhanced her expertise through online specialized workshops at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Her courses with AFSO, Bard College, and Coventry University, and her participation in the Hult Prize and Kectil Programs, have equipped her with the skills to articulate visions for literature, social and environmental justice, and human rights.
Hasinah has volunteered in a publication and bookstore, AOU’s Media and Communication Department, and as a student advisor at Afghan Female Students Outreach.
In her free time, she loves walking, writing, and listening to music while reading novels and philosophical books.
